No Show Policy

Patients who are not able to keep their appointments are asked to provide timely notice of cancellation or need to reschedule prior to their appointment. Unfortunately, our “No-Show” rate for appointments has significantly increased. This has created multiple challenges, but most importantly, it is compromising our ability to provide care for our patients who need to be seen in a more timely manner.
While we try to send reminder texts, emails, or phone calls prior to appointments, it is ultimately the patient’s responsibility to remember their appointment date and time. A “No-Show” is defined as a scheduled appointment that a patient does not keep or is rescheduled without appropriate notice, and will be charged to the patient’s account as follows: No-Show Appointments Incur a $25 Fee

Cancellations

Appointments must be canceled/rescheduled no less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. Appointments canceled less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time will be treated as “no-shows” and the above fee will apply. Patients who fail to pay the fees for missed appointments will not be allowed to schedule future appointments until the fee is paid.

Late Arrivals

We understand that a patient’s time is valuable. We will do everything in our power to meet with a patient during their scheduled appointment time and we also understand that unforeseen circumstances can lead to late arrival for an appointment. However, in the event a patient is more than 15 minutes late for an appointment, he/she may see the nurse practitioner as a walk-in patient to avoid the $25 fee.
